The Fayette County Auditor’s office is currently seeking candidates for the position of Clerk.
This position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the county Auditor’s office with a variety of duties. Primary duties will include but are not limited to processing claims for payment for all services and materials rendered and charged to various county departments, processing passports, recording real estate transfers, and assisting with general office work (i.e. answering telephone, filing documents, etc.)
Qualified candidates must:
● Preferred background in accounting and or real estate
● Maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license and be insurable under the county’s vehicle insurance policy.
● Represent Fayette County in a professional, responsible, and trustworthy manner.
This is a Full-time position. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Position details:

Fayette County, Iowa is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Information Technology.
The Director of IT plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the information technology needs of the county in coordination with other agencies and boards. The IT Director works to identify, obtain, and deploy technology needs, administers the budget, staff, and physical facilities of the department.
Provides oversite of information security enforcement and budget administration, as well as manages IT projects to ensure quality results and timely completion.
The position is primarily Monday – Friday, with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the county assisting with needs after business and on Weekend/Holidays.
Exempt Status - Salary based on qualifications $70,000 - $85,000
